# How do I calculate CO2 per kg of glassware at an Ambala scientific glassware unit?

Canonical: https://senseible.earth/answers/ambala-scientific-glassware-unit-gas-per-kg

LPG burnt in lampworking burners and lehrs × 2.98 kg CO2 per kg of LPG, plus electricity × 0.710, divided by kg of good glassware. Bought borosilicate tubing carries its own footprint in Scope 3, often larger than your direct emissions.

## Direct emissions

- LPG cylinders or bulk LPG, in kg, from invoices.
- Oxygen used with LPG adds no CO2 itself.
- Electric lehrs: kWh from sub-meters.

## Purchased tubing

Ask the tubing supplier for kg CO2 per kg, or use a glass factor labelled as an estimate.

## What Senseible does here

Senseible reads fuel invoices into a dated, fingerprinted record, so each figure shows the quantity, factor and document it came from.
