# A buyer wants our emissions reduction plan with dates. What should it contain?

Canonical: https://senseible.earth/answers/buyer-asks-reduction-plan-with-dates

Start from your measured baseline year. List the actions you will take, each with a date, the expected cut in tonnes and how you will measure it: solar, fuel switch, efficient motors, compressed air fixes. Add a target for a year like 2030 and report progress against it every year.

## Sections

- Baseline year, total and intensity.
- Actions with dates and expected tonnes.
- Target year and percentage cut.
- How progress will be measured and shared.

## Keep it believable

Actions you have budgets for beat a long list. Buyers check last year's promises against this year's figures.

## What Senseible does here

Senseible reads bills, fuel invoices and production records into dated, fingerprinted records, so the figure you send a buyer can be traced to its documents.
