# What should we say about carbon in our company profile or pitch deck?

One or two sentences you can prove: what you measure, for which year, and one real action. For example, Scope 1 and 2 measured from our bills for 2025-26, and a figure you can share on request. Leave out green, eco friendly or neutral unless you can back them up.

## Good lines

- We measure Scope 1 and 2 from our electricity and fuel bills each year.
- Our 2025-26 footprint and method are available on request.
- We cut diesel use by fitting a new compressor in 2025.

## Lines to avoid

- Eco friendly or green, with no detail.
- Carbon neutral, without the offset evidence.
- Targets nobody has agreed internally.
