# What if the CBAM default value table shows a dash for my product from India?

Then the declarant must use the value from the table for other countries and territories in the same annex. A dash means the Commission found no reliable India data for that good. For India this applies to low-carbon ferro-chrome, calcined clay and some hydraulic cements.

## India entries shown as a dash

- CN 7202 49 ferro-chromium, 4% carbon or less
- CN 2507 00 80 80 calcined clay
- CN 2523 90 00 10 white hydraulic cement
- CN 2523 90 00 90 other hydraulic cements

## What the importer does

The authorised CBAM declarant uses the other countries and territories value for that CN code. Where the country of production of a precursor is unknown, Annex IV gives the highest default values, which must be used instead.

## What you can do

Offer a verified actual figure. For goods without an India value, the fallback is rarely favourable, so measured data has the most value here.

## What Senseible does here

Senseible reads coal, coke, gas, electricity and freight invoices into a dated, fingerprinted record per site, so an actual figure you send an EU buyer can be traced back to the documents behind it. It does not file CBAM declarations.
