# What is the carbon footprint of our stall at a trade exhibition?

Canonical: https://senseible.earth/answers/exhibition-stall-carbon-footprint

For an exhibitor, the big items are usually team travel and hotel nights, then building the stall and shipping samples. Stall electricity is often small. Reusing a modular stall instead of a one-time build is the easiest cut.

## What to add

- Flights, trains and hotel nights for staff.
- Stall build: plywood, vinyl prints, carpets.
- Freight for samples and stall material.
- Power drawn at the stall, if the organiser reports it.

## Which scope

Travel is Category 6 and stall materials are Category 1. The organiser's venue energy is theirs to report.

## What Senseible does here

Senseible reads bills, fuel invoices and production records into dated, fingerprinted records, so the figure you send a buyer can be traced to its documents.
