# Does silico-manganese from Gabon face EU CBAM?

Canonical: https://senseible.earth/answers/gabon-silicomanganese-exporter-cbam-check

Not today. Silico-manganese (CN 7202 30) is not in the CBAM goods list; only ferro-manganese, ferro-chromium and ferro-nickel are among ferroalloys. If the plant also ships ferro-manganese, that is covered and needs a figure. Check the CN code on each shipment.

## Covered or not

- Ferro-manganese: covered.
- Silico-manganese: not covered.
- Manganese ore: not covered.

## Still useful

EU steel mills ask for alloy footprints for their own reporting. Coke, coal and electrode records serve both.

## What Senseible does here

Senseible reads fuel, power and production records into dated, fingerprinted installation records, the starting point for the actual emissions your EU importer asks for.
