# How do I find a CBAM accredited verifier?

Canonical: https://senseible.earth/answers/how-to-find-cbam-accredited-verifier

Check the verifier's accreditation certificate from an EU national accreditation body, covering your sector. The European cooperation for Accreditation lists bodies offering CBAM accreditation, the Commission plans to publish a list of accredited verifiers, and the CBAM Registry will let you search for one.

## Checks before signing

- Accreditation from an EU national accreditation body, valid when the final report is issued.
- Scope covering your sector, such as iron and steel or cement.
- Registration in the CBAM Registry.

## Verifiers outside the EU

Verification companies established outside the EU may apply for accreditation with any national accreditation body that offers it.

## What Senseible does here

Senseible keeps the invoices behind each fuel and electricity figure in one fingerprinted record, so a verifier can sample them without a hunt through files. Senseible is not a CBAM verifier and does not issue verification reports.
