# How should a Kaohsiung petrochemical supplier answer a product carbon footprint request?

Canonical: https://senseible.earth/answers/kaohsiung-petrochemical-supplier-pcf-request

Send a cradle to gate figure per tonne of the product, built under ISO 14067 or the Together for Sustainability guideline, with the boundary, year, allocation method and the share of primary data. Separate feedstock, process fuel, steam and electricity so the buyer can see what drives the figure.

## What to include

- Feedstock from naphtha or gas, with its upstream factor.
- Fuel, steam and electricity per tonne, from invoices and meters.
- Allocation across co products, stated.

## Primary data share

Buyers ask how much of the figure comes from your own meters and invoices. Report it honestly; a rough figure with a clear method is better than a polished one nobody can trace.

## Updates

Refresh it yearly, or when the feed or energy mix changes.

## What Senseible does here

Senseible reads purchase invoices into a dated, fingerprinted record, so each supplier figure in your Scope 3 sits next to the quantity and the document it applies to.
