# Do bicycles and parts exported from Ludhiana fall under EU CBAM?

Canonical: https://senseible.earth/answers/ludhiana-bicycle-maker-cbam-check

No. Bicycles under 8712 and their parts under 8714 are not CBAM goods. Steel tubes under 7306 or fasteners under 7318 sold on their own are covered, so a shipment of loose tubes or bolts needs embedded emissions; complete bicycles and frames declared as parts do not.

## Not covered

- 8712: bicycles.
- 8714: parts and accessories of bicycles, including frames.

## Covered when sold as such

- 7306: other tubes and pipes of iron or steel.
- 7318: screws, bolts and nuts.

## What buyers ask

A footprint per bicycle for their Scope 3, built mostly from steel and aluminium bought in.

## What Senseible does here

Senseible reads the energy invoices behind the making stage into a fingerprinted Scope 1 and 2 record, and keeps material invoices on the Scope 3 trail. Material factors come from your supplier or a named database and are labelled with their source, so the product figure can be traced line by line.
