# What carbon data do Polish chemical companies ask raw material suppliers for?

Canonical: https://senseible.earth/answers/polish-chemical-buyer-supplier-scope-3-data

Usually a product carbon footprint per tonne for each material, cradle to gate, with the method and period. Large Polish chemical groups report under the CSRD and set Scope 3 targets, so they want supplier specific figures in place of industry averages. Hydrogen, ammonia and fertilisers also need CBAM data.

## Expect

- Product footprints to ISO 14067 or the PACT method.
- Your Scope 1 and 2 behind them.
- CBAM embedded emissions for covered goods only.

## Answer well

Start from metered site energy, allocate to products by mass or energy with the reason stated, and show what is estimated. A clear first figure beats a perfect one sent late.

## What Senseible does here

Senseible reads your electricity bills and fuel invoices into Scope 1 and 2 records with the factor and source on each line, the site data a buyer questionnaire starts from. It does not produce verified product footprints or fill a buyer's portal for you.
