# How does an agrochemical unit in Roha work out CO2 per batch?

Canonical: https://senseible.earth/answers/roha-agrochemical-unit-steam-co2-per-batch

Total the month's boiler fuel and electricity, then split by steam and power each batch used, from batch records. Add process CO2 if a reaction releases it. Divide by kg produced for each product. A flat split by tonnes hides products that need long distillation or drying.

## Inputs

- Boiler fuel: coal, briquettes or PNG.
- Electricity and chilling load.
- Process CO2 from reactions, if any.

## Batch records

Steam hours, reactor and dryer time per batch. These are the fairest basis for splitting utilities.

## What Senseible does here

Senseible reads bills, fuel invoices and production records into dated, fingerprinted records, so the figure you send a buyer can be traced to its documents.
