# What does SIDBI publish or report about a GCF-backed green loan, and what savings data does it need from me?

For Category B work the environmental assessment and plan need 30 days of advance disclosure before the GCF Board considers it. Category C needs none. SIDBI reports every directly financed subproject in its annual performance report to GCF, with GHG savings worked out from energy savings data supplied by the MSMEs.

## Before approval

- Category B activities: the environmental and social impact assessment and plan, with 30 days of advance disclosure under the GCF Information Disclosure Policy before GCF Board consideration.
- Category C activities: no advance disclosure.

## After approval

- All directly financed subprojects are disclosed and included in SIDBI's annual performance report to GCF.
- That report carries summaries of the assessment and plan, significant changes after disclosure, corrective actions, and updates on safeguards, gender, workplace safety and pollution control compliance.

## The numbers SIDBI needs from you

SIDBI submits traceable spreadsheet calculations of greenhouse gas reductions every year. They use energy savings data from the MSMEs, with recognised methods such as CDM and ISO standards. It also tracks energy savings and water efficiency.

## What to keep from day one

With these, the saving is a before and after difference you can show.

- Fuel and power bills for 12 months before the project.
- Fuel and power bills after commissioning.
- Machine run hours and production per month.
