# What CBAM data does a Vietnamese galvanising line need for imported coil?

The embedded emissions of each hot or cold rolled coil you buy, from the mill that made it, per tonne and period. Add your own line's direct emissions from annealing and pot heating fuel and divide by tonnes of coated product. Zinc carries nothing under CBAM.

## From the coil supplier

- Specific direct embedded emissions per tonne, with installation and period.
- Production route, since blast furnace and arc furnace coil differ widely.
- Whether a verifier has checked the figure.

## If a supplier will not share

Your importer uses the default value for that coil, which carries a mark-up. Mixing verified coil from one mill with default coil from another is allowed, but track it by batch.
