Senseible

Which certifications do we list in the BRSR, and do they have to match principles?

List every national or international code, certification, label or standard your company has adopted, and show which of the nine principles each one covers. SEBI's examples include FSC, Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, Trustea, SA 8000, OHSAS, ISO and BIS. This is Section B, question 4.

What the question asks

Name the codes, certifications, labels and standards adopted by the entity, matched to each principle. The columns are the nine principles, P1 to P9, so one standard can be ticked against more than one.

A practical way to do it

  1. Pull your certificate list from the quality file: ISO, BIS marks, customer-mandated codes.
  2. Write the exact name and scope of each, as on the certificate.
  3. For each one, ask which principle it actually covers. An environmental management certificate speaks to Principle 6, environment. A safety or worker-welfare certificate speaks to Principle 3, employee well-being.
  4. Leave a principle empty if no standard covers it. Do not stretch a certificate to cover it.

Do not list intentions

The question says adopted. A certificate being applied for belongs in your targets under questions 5 and 6, not here.

What Senseible does here

Senseible does not hold or issue certifications. It builds the energy and emission records that sit behind an environment standard, such as the kWh and fuel litres for Principle 6.
