A buyer wants our carbon data in a week. What can we send that holds up?

Send Scope 1 and 2 from last year's electricity bills and fuel invoices, which most firms can total in days. Add a short note on what is included, what is estimated and when Scope 3 will follow. A smaller, sourced figure on time beats a full but guessed one.

Week plan

1. Day 1 to 2: collect twelve months of bills and fuel invoices.
2. Day 3: calculate Scope 1 and 2 by site.
3. Day 4: second person checks units and factors.
4. Day 5: send with a method note and a date for Scope 3.
