Senseible

I found a mistake after submitting my CDP response. Can I still fix it?

Yes, until the final disclosure deadline. In CDP's 2026 cycle you could amend a submitted response in the Portal until the week of 26 October, but only amendments re-submitted before the scoring deadline, 16 September, counted toward your score. Only the Submission Lead can reopen the response and re-submit it.

How to amend

  1. The Submission Lead logs into the CDP Portal and selects 'Yes, edit submission' on the Questionnaire page.
  2. Anyone on the team can then edit the sections that need correcting.
  3. The Submission Lead selects 'Submit edits', completes the submission steps and selects 'Submit Questionnaire'.

What you can change

Will the fix change my score?

Only if it was re-submitted before the scoring deadline. CDP scores the latest response submitted by then. Changes submitted after it, up to the final deadline, are accepted but not scored, so your score stays based on the earlier version even though the response itself is corrected.

Public or non-public after an amendment

A public response stays public. A non-public one can stay non-public or be switched to public; if you switch, both the original and the amended response become public.

What Senseible does here

If the mistake was in your emissions figures, Senseible can rebuild Scope 1 and 2 from your fuel invoices and electricity bills, with the factor and source for every line, so the corrected answer has its evidence behind it.
