Travel to the venue is business travel, Category 6. Hotel nights also go in Category 6, and a per-night factor covers the venue's energy. Meals and venue hire you pay for separately are purchased services. Add them up and keep the event as one line so it is easy to compare.

- Mode and distance for each person's travel.
- Room nights.
- Venue, food and activities invoices.

Choosing a venue reachable by train or bus usually cuts more than any change at the venue.
