What grid emission factor should a supplier in Uzbekistan use?

Uzbekistan's power comes mostly from gas, with some hydro and a little coal, so the grid factor sits roughly around 0.4 to 0.5 kg CO2 per kWh. Use the official or IEA figure for the reporting year and name it, because new solar and wind are pulling it down.

Which figure

Why it moves

Most electricity comes from gas plants. Large solar and wind projects have been added in recent years, so each year's figure can be lower than the last.

Records

Monthly electricity bills with kWh, and meter readings for any power you make on site.

For CBAM

For steel and aluminium, electricity is reported but not charged. For fertilisers and cement it counts toward the charge, so the factor matters more.

What Senseible does here

Senseible reads electricity bills into dated, fingerprinted records and keeps location based and market based figures side by side, each with the factor and year used.
