Senseible

What does BRSR value chain disclosure ask about downstream partners such as distributors and dealers?

The same as for suppliers: the BRSR Core indicators, such as emissions, energy and water, attributable to your business with each distributor, dealer or customer that alone makes up 2% or more of your sales by value. It is voluntary for the top 250 listed companies from FY 2025-26, and few distributors cross 2%.

Which downstream partners count

The test runs partner by partner on your sales: a customer counts if it alone accounts for 2% or more of sales by value. Distributors, dealer groups, retail chains, e-commerce marketplaces, OEM customers and export buyers can all qualify. Count the legal entity you invoice, so a dealer group billed through one company is one partner. You may stop once the partners covered reach 75% of sales.

What Senseible does here

A distributor can use Senseible to build Scope 1 and 2 from its own fuel and electricity bills, with the factor source on each line, and send those totals to the listed company. Which partners are covered is the listed company's choice.
