We burn no fuel, but our buyer doubts our zero Scope 1. How do we show it?
Show that no Scope 1 source exists: no generator, boiler, furnace, LPG, company vehicles or refrigerant equipment, or that any present was not used. Purchase ledgers with no fuel, a site list of equipment and a signed statement usually settle it.
Check every source
- Diesel generator, even standby.
- LPG for canteens or heating.
- Company cars or forklifts.
- Air conditioners and chillers, which can leak refrigerant.

Small leaks matter
Refrigerant top-ups are Scope 1. If you had any, include them.
