Senseible

What does a CBAM verifier do before testing my numbers?

First a strategic analysis of your plant: size, processes, sources, meters, precursors, electricity and control system. Then a risk analysis of inherent and control risks. These set the verification plan: a programme of activities, a test plan for your controls and a data sampling plan. Manual data transfers and weak checking raise the work.

Strategic analysis

Is your plan current?

The verifier checks whether the plan is the latest version and whether the plant or plan has changed. If the plan does not reflect what you do, the verifier asks for an update and may put verification on hold. Minor issues can go into the report instead of waiting.

Risk analysis

The verification plan

Three parts: a verification programme describing what is done, when and how; a test plan for your controls; and a data sampling plan. The plan is revised if the work shows risks higher or lower than first judged.

What you can do

A working control system lowers the risk the verifier finds, which reduces the effort and cost of verification.

What Senseible does here

Senseible turns paper bills and invoices into structured, fingerprinted records, which removes one manual transfer step from your data flow. Verification itself is done by an accredited verifier.
