What emissions does CCTS tool BM-T-010 count when a project uses biomass?

BM-T-010 counts emissions along the biomass value chain: growing it in a dedicated plantation, transporting it and processing it. It adds leakage, such as residues diverted from other uses or farming pushed elsewhere. Only increases outside the project count, and the project region is 250 km around the site.

Practical point

Keep biomass purchase invoices with source and quantity, and transport records with distances. They are the activity data for the transport and residue checks.

What Senseible does here

Senseible can read biomass purchase and freight invoices into monthly records with the supplier and quantity attached.
