Which chemicals made in Vapi and Ankleshwar fall under EU CBAM?

Very few. Hydrogen, ammonia, nitric acid, potassium nitrate and nitrogen or mixed fertilisers are CBAM goods. Dyes, pigments, dye intermediates, pharmaceutical intermediates and agrochemical actives are not in Annex I, so exporting them needs no CBAM data today.

What EU buyers may still ask

Product carbon footprints for their Scope 3 reporting, and data under chemical sector schemes such as Together for Sustainability. Keep energy records by plant so a product figure can be built when a buyer asks.

What Senseible does here

Senseible reads the energy invoices behind the making stage into a fingerprinted Scope 1 and 2 record, and keeps material invoices on the Scope 3 trail. Material factors come from your supplier or a named database and are labelled with their source, so the product figure can be traced line by line.
