Senseible

Which technologies are on the ADEETIE list, and how much energy do they save?

BEE lists 69 indicative technologies with expected savings, such as lost foam casting in foundries at 50 to 60 percent, induction billet heaters in forging at 20 to 25 percent and CNC machine tools at 20 to 40 percent. The list is open: other technologies can qualify.

Examples by sector (saving potential as listed)

How to use the list

  1. Shortlist two or three technologies for your largest energy use, such as the furnace, kiln or compressor house.
  2. Let the empanelled auditor test them in the investment grade energy audit.
  3. Take the saving from your audit, not the list. The list gives ranges; your loan and subvention depend on the measured saving.

Not on the list?

The booklet states the scheme is open beyond the indicative list. A technology outside it still needs the detailed project report and BEE technical committee approval.

What Senseible does here

Senseible separates power and fuel by month from your invoices, so you can see which utility drives your energy bill before choosing what to replace.
