Does Senseible count each page of a PDF as a separate invoice against my monthly allowance?

Yes, from your account's next period. Each PDF page and each photo counts as one invoice read: from 1 November 2026 for yearly and free plans, from the next billing date for monthly plans, and for every account by 1 December 2026. Until your date, each file counts as one.

When page counting reaches your account

• Snapshot (free) and yearly plans: from 1 November 2026, India time.
• Monthly plans: from your next billing date, and not before 1 November 2026.
• Every account: by 1 December 2026, even if your next billing date falls later.
• Before your date: a PDF counts as one read however many pages it has.

How to work out the reads you will need

Count pages, not documents. Reads a month = (PDF invoices a month x average pages per PDF) + photos a month. A three-page HT electricity bill uses three reads, and a 24-page scanned bundle of fuel slips uses 24.

Compare the total with your plan's invoice reads per calendar month: Snapshot 10, Essential 100, Pro 1,000 and Scale 10,000. Add a margin for your busiest month, such as year end.

Ways to use fewer pages

• Remove blank pages, covering letters, terms and conditions and advertisement pages before you scan.
• For a long bill, keep the pages that show the billing period, tariff and units consumed, and check nothing you need sits on the pages you drop.
• Scan at a readable resolution the first time, so you do not upload the same pages again as a new file.

If you run out in a month

Your plan's reads are used first, then any credits you bought. Extra invoice credits cost ₹79 per 100 invoices before GST and are bought on your Subscription page with UPI. Credits bought on a yearly plan last 12 months; on a monthly or free plan they last 30 days. Otherwise, the plan's reads start again next calendar month.

Worked example: one factory's month

• 40 single-page purchase invoices: 40 reads
• 6 electricity bills of 3 pages each: 6 x 3 = 18 reads
• 1 scanned bundle of fuel slips, 24 pages: 24 reads
• 10 photos of delivery challans: 10 reads
• Total with page counting: 40 + 18 + 24 + 10 = 92 reads, inside Essential's 100
• Before page counting the same month was 40 + 6 + 1 + 10 = 57 files, so 57 reads

Illustrative volumes. If a busy month reaches 120 reads on Essential, one pack of 100 credits at ₹79 covers the extra 20.
