How do I check whether my installer's solar cells are on ALMM List-II?

Open MNRE's latest ALMM List-II revision and find the cell manufacturer, the plant location and the exact model. Each entry also gives the cell type, efficiency and wattage range, enlisted capacity and a validity period, so check the model is listed and still valid on your commissioning date.

What a List-II entry shows

Steps

  1. Get the cell manufacturer and cell model number from the module datasheet or the module maker.
  2. Open the latest List-II revision on MNRE's website; the 12th revision was dated 8 October 2026.
  3. Match manufacturer, plant location and model exactly; a different plant of the same company is a different entry.
  4. Check your expected commissioning date falls inside the validity dates.
  5. Save a copy of the page showing the entry with your project documents.

Things that catch people out

Revisions amend earlier entries as well as adding new ones, so use the latest revision, not an old download. Capacity shown in a revision replaces the earlier capacity for that unit; it is not added to it.
